As the world leader in the production of High Performance Materials & Components and Advanced Alloys & Solutions, ATI was interested in revamping their website to better align with their corporate Vision and Values.
ATI's key markets are aerospace and defense, commercial jet engines, oil & gas, chemical process industry, electrical energy, and medical. With increasing demand for specific market support, ATI wanted to find a way to incorporate a ‘market first’ approach to business development and support, on equal footing with the previous focus on Businesses and Products. A UX audit was performed and several site architectures were proposed. The reconfigured site architecture made it easy to select the approach that best fit the user’s goals. Market segments are presented at top-level alongside the familiar business unit hierarchy. The market segments are featured with compelling imagery on the home page to generate excitement and give a quick overview of the company’s influence as a problem-solver and technology innovator.
